Sam Chebib | President & CEO
Sam Chebib has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nightingale since April 2002. During his tenure with Nightingale, he led the company to be a market leader in the North American market. Nightingale achieved the number 1 spot on the Deloitte Fast 50 in Canada and number 10 on the Deloitte Fast 500 in North America. Nightingale was also named in Canada’s Profit 100 magazine 2 years in a row, and has been recognized as the third largest Healthcare IT pure play companies by the Branham 300.
Prior to founding Nightingale, Sam was the President and Chief Operating Officer, from April 2000 to September 2001, of MedcomSoft Inc., a public healthcare information company listed on TSX specializing in physician practice management systems for the Canadian, United States and Australian markets. Sam held a number of positions between 1988 and April 2000 with Toromont Industries Ltd., a public company listed on TSX specializing in construction equipment, energy and industrial equipment. His last position with Toromont Industries Ltd. was as Vice-President & General Manager of Energy Toromont, a division of Toromont Industries Ltd. from January 1996 to April 2000. In 1996, he instrumented the acquisition of the medical and dental assets of Medifirst, a private healthcare delivery company, as part of a family business. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and became a professional engineer in Ontario in 1992.
Peter Cauley | Chief Financial Officer
Peter Cauley has more than 25 years of financial and operational experience involving technology-focused companies, holding a series of senior financial positions in innovative and successful companies. As Chief Financial Officer, Peter is responsible for the overall financial management of Nightingale Informatix Corporation.
Prior to joining Nightingale, Peter was VP Finance of Solarsoft Business Systems for just under three years, where he led the global finance team until the sale of Solarsoft in October 2012. He joined Solarsoft from BorderWare Technologies where, as COO and CFO, he took the business through a successful exit for investors in July 2009. Prior to joining Borderware, Peter was CFO of DataMirror Corporation, a TSX-listed provider of real-time data integration, protection and event detection solutions. He held this position for over twelve years, spanning from the company's initial public offering, several subsequent financings and acquisitions, to its eventual acquisition by IBM. Prior to DataMirror, Peter held senior financial positions with two privately-held technology companies.
After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Cauley articled with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1985.
Trevor Henderson | Executive Vice President, Operations
Trevor joined Nightingale in May 2012 and brings almost 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, information technology and marketing. He has held many operational and executive positions in the finance and technology fields. Most recently, Trevor was Sr. Vice President & Managing Director at ADESA and OPENLANE, divisions of KAR auction services, a NYSE-listed company providing diversified automotive auction, technology and financing services across North America. Trevor holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from McMaster University.

Alia Mourtada | Vice President, Product Management
Alia Mourtada, Vice President, Product Management, has been with Nightingale since April 2002. Alia is an experienced IT professional who has spent her entire professional career working in the healthcare IT field. Prior to joining Nightingale, from December 1999 to March 2002, Alia was the Director of Product Definition and Management of MedcomSoft Inc., a public company listed on TSX specializing in physician practice management systems. As Director of Product Definition and Management, she managed a department of 30 business analysts, product architects, and quality assurance staff. Alia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
Rakesh Moddi, Vice President, Engineering
Rakesh joined Nightingale in March 2013, bringing over 18 years of experience developing enterprise software. Prior to joining Nightingale, Rakesh held various positions at Infor Global Solutions, Sybase Canada, Platform Computing and Algorithmics. Most recently, Rakesh was Vice President of R&D at Infor Global solutions managing a large, geographically distributed team of software development professionals. As VP of Engineering at Nightingale, Rakesh is responsible for managing a large team of software developers and quality assurance analysts. Rakesh holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Sydney, Australia and an undergraduate engineering degree in Computer Science from M.S. University in India.
James Cappelli | Vice President, Professional Services
Jamie joined Nightingale in July 2012 and brings over 12 years of experience in software and professional services delivery. Jamie has transformed, grown, and overseen global teams that emphasize customer service, an adherence to best practices, and streamlined, predictable implementation methodologies. Jamie comes to Nightingale from Algorithmics where he led the Delivery and Production Support teams for its managed service offering. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering, with a Management Science option, from the University of Waterloo.
Colin Hung | Vice President, Marketing
Colin joined Nightingale in October 2012. He has spent his entire 20 year career in software and most recently was VP Marketing and Operations at RL Solutions, a healthcare IT company that provides software to hospitals in the US and Canada. During his 6 years at RL, he successfully launched over a dozen new products, lead their rebranding initiative and helped achieve exclusive endorsement from the American Hospital Association. Colin is passionate about healthcare. He helped to author the Taxonomy Monograph as part of ASHRMs Data for Safety Taxonomy Task Force, has participated in several overseas healthcare IT missions, been a keynote speaker at health conferences and is member of The Walking Gallery. Larry Fetterhoff | Vice President, Practice Management Operations
Larry Fetterhoff has been with Nightingale VantageMed since November 2000, and brings with him over 20 years of experience with public and private software technology firms. Larry is responsible for all US based practice management solutions. Prior to joining Nightingale, Larry managed a consulting group for Lakeview Solutions, providing a wide-range of software application solutions and support. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administrations with a concentration in Management Information Systems.
Liesel Loesch | Vice President, Finance & Administration
Liesel Loesch , Vice President Finance and Administration is responsible for the accounting, compliance and financial operations of the Company. Prior to this position with Nightingale, Liesel served as Chief Financial Officer of VantageMed. Prior to joining VantageMed in January 2003, Liesel was the Controller for Silicon Image, Inc. She is a CPA, previously served as an Audit Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
David Mitchell | Vice President, Information Technology and Privacy Officer
David joined Nightingale in May 2012, bringing with him more than 20 years of professional experience in the Information Technology field, with particular expertise in leveraging Cloud and Virtualization technologies to improve both the corporate bottom line and customer experience. He also has significant accomplishments in the areas of growth management and ROI improvement. Most recently, David served as Director, Information Technology at BlueCat Networks. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Quest Software as Manager of IT Operations for Canada. David’s entry into the IT field was as an entrepreneur, forming a consulting company in 1990 with two partners that specialized in custom software development for the automotive service industry.
Cindy Usprech | Vice President, Human Resources
Cindy joined Nightingale in March 2012 and brings 13 years of experience in Human Resources and has a unique passion for company culture that supports talented teams to achieve their goals. Most recently, Cindy served as Director, Human Resources for Marketwire a global social media and technology company where she was responsible for creating and implementing the strategic Human Resource plan and practices including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and career development. Prior to Marketwire Cindy was part of Guestlogix (listed on the tsx), Sigma Systems and 724 Solutions (formerly listed on the tsx), all within the Technology industry. She holds a BA in Sociology from York University.
