For your convenience, we have provided links to a number of software utilities that you may require for our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, Nightingale on Demand.

 

Software

Please select the software you wish to install:

ADM - East

Nightingale Advanced Document Management application (for users in Ontario, Manitoba and Atlantic Canada)

ADM - West

Nightingale Advanced Document Management application (for users in Western Canada)
ADM ON MD Nightingale Advanced Document Management application (for users on the SSHA data centre)

Adobe Acrobat

Reader software for PDF (portable document format) files, including selected government implementation forms
Formatta Filler

Reader / form filling software for completing Nightingale implementation forms (for files with a .pff extension)
Macromedia Flash Player

Used for viewing flash media

If you are required to install this package please note that Macromedia now bundles a Yahoo toolbar with the software that is installed as an "enhancement" to your web browser. If you wish to remove the toolbar, the process is quite simple and follows these steps:

1. Close all browser windows and click Start
2. Click Control panel
3. Click add/remove programs
4. Once the list is populated, scroll down the list to locate Yahoo Toolbar and click remove .
Sun Java Virtual Machine

Java runtime components that are required for certain graphing functions in the Nightingale application
Windows Media Player

Used for viewing video/media content
Winzip

File decompression utility (for files with a .zip extension)
