We are currently looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Research & Development team in our head office in Markham, Ontario. Nightingale offers a fast-paced, innovative environment that will challenge your business acumen and tune your technical aptitude.
The successful candidate will contribute to the Product Management team initiatives by managing our custom development projects, from client engagement through to project delivery in a timely and cost effective manner that ensures client satisfaction and meets business objectives with the following activities:
- Act as the primary point of contact and be responsible for overall client satisfaction and relationship management
- Manage the full project life cycle from conception to completion, including project planning; project monitoring, tracking, and status reporting; and post project reviews.
- Manage contract deliverables and insure Nightingale’s and client’s obligations are clearly stated and communicated
- Ensure project delivery meets client business objectives within schedule and budget guidelines
- Work with the Product Management and Development team to develop concept documents, specifications, effort, resource allocation, and schedules
- Track and manage all project cost elements, change orders and customer invoices.
- Manage risk, issue and scope changes for the project and escalation as required
- Communicate business plans and objectives to employees and managers
- Drive multiple site implementation activities of Nightingale products
- A university degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent)
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated know-how to get IT projects delivered regardless of what is thrown at you.
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Superior leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of the Healthcare IT industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- A PMP designation is an asset
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Successful in clearly and concisely communicating technical presentations to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication.
