Regional Director of Sales - New York, California, Texas, Midwest, South East

Nightingale is looking for exceptional Regional Directors of Sales for various regions in the US including New York, California, Texas, Midwest and the Southeast.   You will be responsible for selling Nightingale’s products and services to physicians and other healthcare organizations directly, and with a team of 2-4 (inside sales and customer base representatives).  Candidates must be self-starters, highly motivated, have strong business acumen and must have proven ability to multi-task.  You must demonstrate the initiative, aptitude and territory management skills to consistently exceed quota.  Integrity, professionalism and a strong passion to make our customers successful are a must. Delivering fanatical customer service is a fundamental part of our strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for exceeding sales plan
  • Empowering and leading a sales team
  • Recruiting, developing, mentoring, and training sales team
  • Accurate sales forecasting
  • Manage all lead generation activities
  • Manage and grow selected high profile enterprise accounts
  • Develop exceptional relationships with customers and other key industry stakeholders such as State healthcare organizations

Must have skills:

  • A minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the healthcare industry selling to physicians and consistently exceeding quota
  • Leadership skills to coach and manage a team to help you drive results
  • Ability to travel across North America
  • Experience selling software solutions and/or services
  • Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a face paced environment
  • Attention to details with a strong sales process discipline
  • A strong understanding of customer and industry dynamics and requirements
  • A proven ability to oversee all sales activities
  • Understanding of marketing and ability to work effectively with the marketing team
  • Ability to manage CRM systems
  • Exceptional presentation and persuasive skills
  • Demonstrated strong working relationship with a professional services team

This position reports to the Executive Vice President, North America and involves a significant amount of interaction with customers, partners, staff and other members of the Nightingale management team.
