Enterprise Business Development Manager - Canada
We are seeking a proven, senior sales and business development leader to drive revenue growth to hospitals, LHINs, governments and other large healthcare organizations in Canada. Nightingale is a young, fast growing company with a great brand and a proven portfolio of products and services in a growing market. We require the best individuals to continue to execute our sales and business development strategy.
Candidates must be self-starters, highly motivated, have strong business acumen, experienced in the healthcare industry and must have proven ability to multi-task. You will have a direct sales role in the healthcare field with the maturity to manage multiple accounts. You must demonstrate the initiative, aptitude and territory management skills to consistently exceed objectives. Integrity, professionalism and a strong passion to make our customers successful is a must. You must have at least 5 years of direct sales / business development experience, with a proven track record, selling into a healthcare industry and physician community in Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct sales experience to hospitals, governments and other large healthcare organizations
- Build Sales Pipeline
- Strong ability to grow relationships with executives across the client base
- Understanding of Federal and Provincial eHealth programs including Canada Health Infoway blueprint
- Effectively present product and services to prospects
- Efficiently manage all stages of sales cycles and sales process
- Demonstrate strong closing skills
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Look after customers in assigned territory, working with training and implementation staff
- Properly manage details through CRM system and other sales processes set up by the company
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Post secondary education
- Consistent track record exceeding quota with minimum 5 plus years of healthcare sales, business development experience
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Experience selling to hospitals, healthcare organizations and/or physicians
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communications
- Good knowledge of PC's: including Win 2000, XP. (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel
- Great business acumen and the ability to think strategically and innovate
- Outstanding presentation skills with ability to articulate conceptually
- Strong team player
