Sam Chebib, President & CEO

Sam Chebib has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nightingale since April 2002. During his tenure with Nightingale, he led the company to be a market leader in the North American market.  Nightingale achieved the number 1 spot on the Deloitte Fast 50 in Canada and number 10 on the Deloitte Fast 500 in North America. Nightingale was also named in Canada’s Profit 100 magazine 2 years in a row, and has been recognized as the third largest Healthcare IT pure play companies by the Branham 300.

Prior to founding Nightingale, Mr. Chebib was the President and Chief Operating Officer, from April 2000 to September 2001, of MedcomSoft Inc., a public healthcare information company listed on TSX specializing in physician practice management systems for the Canadian, United States and Australian markets. Mr. Chebib held a number of positions between 1988 and April 2000 with Toromont Industries Ltd., a public company listed on TSX specializing in construction equipment, energy and industrial equipment. His last position with Toromont Industries Ltd. was as Vice-President & General Manager of Energy Toromont, a division of Toromont Industries Ltd. from January 1996 to April 2000. In 1996, he instrumented the acquisition of the medical and dental assets of Medifirst, a private healthcare delivery company, as part of a family business. Mr. Chebib holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and became a professional engineer in Ontario in 1992.

Michael Ford, Chief Financial Officer

Michael Ford joined the Nightingale team in December of 2007, and brings with him more than twenty years of financial management experience with public and private software and technology enterprises ranging in size from $5M to $300M in revenues. As Chief Financial Officer, Michael is responsible for the overall financial management of Nightingale Informatix Corporation. Prior to joining to Nightingale, Michael was the CFO of X.EYE Inc, a global provider of enterprise wealth management technology solutions for the financial services industry, with operations in Canada and the US. Prior to X.EYE he was VP Finance and CFO of Novator Systems, an ASP specializing in outsourced retail ecommerce. At Novator, Michael helped develop and execute on the company’s strategy during a period of rapid growth and change. Before joining Novator, Michael spent two years at TSX-listed Enghouse Systems Limited, where he initially served as CFO, and then transitioned to CEO. At Enghouse, he played a key role in the company’s turnaround, which included completing its TSX listing, growing organic revenues and executing on its strategic M&A initiatives.

Michael embarked on his financial career at Deloitte & Touche; he is a Chartered Accountant  and holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree .

Brian Miller, Chief Technology and Privacy Officer

Brian Miller, Chief Technology and Privacy Officer brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology. Working with a highly skilled team, Brian is responsible for product management, R&D, and IT operations. Specifically, Brian's focus is on delivering high quality solutions that meet our customers’ needs and Fanatical Customer Service. Building on a 10 year foundation with IBM, Brian has held several executive positions at high growth companies encompassing finance, logistics, and e-commerce. His expertise is in bridging the technical and business aspects of information technology.

John Bodolai, Executive Vice President

John Bodolai is the Executive Vice President of Nightingale responsible for Sales, Marketing, Professional Services and Transcription/Data Management Operations. John’s key responsibilities are to brand Nightingale as a great company, grow revenues, train and implement our customers successfully, and to drive Fanatical Customer Service programs within the organization that delight Nightingale’s customers. He spends a significant amount of time with customers and is passionate about ensuring their success.

Prior to Nightingale, John was co-founder of SkillsMeridian, an International Recruiting and Off Shoring company that helped North American companies find highly skilled IT professionals globally. He also held various sales management roles at PeopleSoft Canada (now Oracle) and spent a few years in commercial banking at the Bank of Montreal early in his career.

John graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Business Degree, and went on to obtain his Certified Management Accounting (CMA) designation. He has also completed his Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) certification from the University of Toronto and the Institute of Corporate Directors.

John spends a significant amount of his spare time helping non-profit organizations and coaching kid’s soccer. He is former Vice-Chair, Board of Governors, Seneca College, Canada’s largest college.

Alia Mourtada, Vice President, Global Product Strategy & Delivery

Alia Mourtada, Vice President, Global Product Strategy & Delivery, has been with Nightingale since April 2002. Ms. Mourtada is an experienced IT professional who has spent her entire professional career working in the healthcare IT field. Prior to joining Nightingale, from December 1999 to March 2002, Ms. Mourtada was the Director of Product Definition and Management of MedcomSoft Inc., a public company listed on TSX specializing in physician practice management systems. As Director of Product Definition and Management, she managed a department of 30 business analysts, product architects, and quality assurance staff.

Ms. Mourtada holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science .

Liesel Loesch, Vice President Finance & Administration

Liesel Loesch , Vice President Finance and Administration is responsible for the accounting, compliance and financial operations of the Company. Prior to this position with Nightingale, Liesel served as Chief Financial Officer of VantageMed. Prior to joining VantageMed in January 2003, Ms. Loesch was the Controller for Silicon Image, Inc. She is a CPA, previously served as an Audit Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Doug Watt, Vice President Sales Canada

Doug Watt, Vice President Sales, Canada joined Nightingale in November of 2005. Mr. Watt has eighteen years of experience in the Software sales and Consulting industry. Prior to joining Nightingale, Doug was the Director of Business Development for CGI, focusing on the Public Sector and Healthcare Sector. Mr. Watt previously served as the North American Director of Professional Services for Silicon Graphics Inc. where, after establishing the Canadian Professional Services organization, he moved on to take responsibility for the North American Professional Services Sales Team. Doug holds an  Honours BMath degree.  

Larry Fetterhoff, Vice President, Practice Management Operations

Larry Fetterhoff has been with Nightingale VantageMed since November 2000, and brings with him over 20 years of experience with public and private software technology firms. Larry is responsible for all US based practice management solutions. Prior to joining Nightingale, Larry managed a consulting group for Lakeview Solutions, providing a wide-range of software application solutions and support. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administrations with a concentration in Management Information Systems.p>

Paul Jones, Vice President, IT Operations

Paul brings with him 17 years extensive experience managing Global IT Operations environments and Technical support teams. Prior to Nightingale Paul was Director, IT Operations at Points International, a leading Canadian based e-commerce company. Before joining Points International Paul held management positions at CGI and the Bank of Montreal’s Technology group, where he also sat as a member of the bank’s Architecture Review Board. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree (Petroleum Geology and Geophysics)
